Color coding chart of utilities

Be sure to call 811 before any type of dig project to have the public utilities located, then call a private utility locator, like us, to locate the utilities Digline does not cover. For example, anything passed the meter going to a well, barn, shop. or any gas that is going to a pool heater or an outside fireplace.

Contracted utility locators will come and spray paint each of these colors around your dig area to show where your utilities are located.
